Tip: How to tell if a hairbrush is nice or evil

Hello everybody. As I promised I created a tip post. Hope you enjoy!

Evil
Have you ever gotten a hairbrush that you are so excited to use but then when you try it out and when you try it it hurts and pulls your hair? That brush is called an evil brush.

Example of an evil brush:

Here are ways you can tell that a brush is evil:
1. The bristles on the brush are thick.
2. The ball on the tip of the bristles are large.
3. When you press  down on the bristles the withstand the pressure you are applying and not collapse. It depends on the amount of weight applied but you might find that the bristles actually hurt.

Nice
Or have you ever gotten a brush that you are so excited to try out and when you do try it out, it feels amazing and doesn't pull your hair? That brush is called a nice brush.

Example of a nice brush:

Here are ways you can tell that a brush is nice:
1. The bristles on the brush are thin.
2. The ball on the tip of the bristles are small or there is no ball.
3. When you press down on the bristles they collapse not withstand the pressure you are applying.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and have a great day,
Caro

Tips for a successful blog

Today I have tips for you blog starters on how to be successful and keep posting. I know I haven't been really doing that but I am Doing daily DIYs for now. Also a person can't always dedicate our time to posting everyday on our blog. I am still in school so it is harder for me to post daily and even weekly. I haven't been posting for about 2 months. I am sorry I always promise I will be posting weekly etc. So this is a little disclaimer saying it's okay to not be posting all the time.

Tips to successful blogs:

  1. Make your blog fun. Make it your own.
  2. Create a home page (you usually should make that the first thing)
  3. Tell people and viewers what they should be expecting you post.
  4. Plan ahead. (if you are doing weekly posts like I have been doing since Monday or so, create drafts of the upcoming posts you are making weather you are on the go or not. So it is just less work for you to do when that day comes.)
  5. Use your free time/when you are absolutely bored to make some posts. Catch up!
  6. If you haven't been posting for a while do a "catching up" post or "where have I been" post to let people know why you haven't been blogging as much as people were hoping.
  7. Have fun with your blog.
  8. Interact with your viewers. (such as post this [on instagram, twitter, etc.] and make them put a hashtag[#] so you can see it. Or give people your social media names so they can follow you and keep up with you. Or give people an email you set up specifically for the blog to answer and of your viewer's questions.
  9. DON'T EVER let hate comments online from a stranger or verbally from a kid at school that has seen your blog, get to you. It is just the same when you start a new YouTube channel, expect hate but DO NOT pay attention to it. As Taylor Swift says "Hater gonna hate".
  10. Have a signature, signature that you will put at the end of every one of your posts. (ex.               Stay Smiling,                                                                                                                               Lili                       )
I hope you all found this helpful if you are trying to start a new blog.

Good luck starting a new blog if you are,
Have a great day,
Caro

Hello everybody,
So  I understand when you see a DIY pin on Pinterest and it looks sooooo perfect! So I am soon going to be starting a series called Person .vs. Pin to put pins to the test. You will be able to find out if that pin is reliable or not based on its picture. Soon  I will be starting with my DIY #1 a post I made based on a DIY from Pinterest. If you do a Person .vs. Pin test please post the picture on instagram and tag it just simply #personvspin and feel free to tag me @caro1888mc. I would love to see some of your tests. Maybe yours will even make it to this blog.
