Recent Gossip

Hello everyone its Caro!!! Its been a while since I've posted-kind of. Anyway, Earlier today I just discovered that I have a shorts tan line, a t-shirt tan line, and an ankle sock tan line. o_o I've been in the sun and getting sunburns WAY too much. I am so happy because yesterday I ran a school mini marathon that is about 1.7 miles. It was fun and I ended up coming in 3rd place. This is really awesome because last year I came in 4th place and It really feels great to get a medal. So here is some of the recent gossip.

In the weekly edition of the us weekly there is a bachelorette sex scandal. Also two men on the bachelorette fall in love. O.O 
Regina George's house from mean girls is on sale for $14.8 million. This 20,000-square foot property includes 11 bedrooms, a six-car garage, 12 bathrooms, and, in case there weren't enough showers or toilets, two half bathrooms. The home stands on two acres of private property which features an over sized pool, a regulation size tennis court, and a separate 1,000-square foot stone cottage.
Also Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have split up just two months after the finale of the bachelor. I knew they wouldn't last long.

Mean, Median, Mode, and Range

Hello everyone this may seem like a random post but I kind of got bored and started teaching my        3 1/2 year old sister about mean, median, mode, and range and to tell you the truth. She probably paid no attention to what I was saying at all. So I got the Idea of showing you all the drawing I created.

Short Story Preview

So i've been working on a short stories recently and I decided I would start by giving you all a preview of my first short story. I wrote this on 11/6/2013. Hope you enjoy! :)

Gossip Group

It was a super hot summer day in Austin, Texas. It was the first day of 7th grade. The Great eight girl group, the Gossip group, pushed the door open and started singing their theme song. “We are the gossip group, eight in just one group this will just never change… If we get in a fight we will always win ‘cause we are the gossip group. We are, We are, We are {Stomp} The gossip group” Once the gossip group reached their lockers a new girl trampled in. All eight girls gasped among lots of other classmates. No one had ever been new to the school for years. It brought everyone to shock. The new girl, Kristy, was wearing bright red lipstick on her pouty lips, She wore light washed jean ripped end shorts, and a pale pink sugar lip tank top. Her hair was twisted up into a messy bun. Typical for unfashionable girls. That was all that was to her SUPER UGLY outfit. Immediately the gossip girls checked their reflections in their locker mirror applied a fresh layer of Two Ton Tomato - sheer warm red checked their freshly painted Sally Hansen Xtreme on white nails and gave each other a nod, they were  ready for whatever was going to happen next.

I know I haven't been posting in a while so I am sorry for that. I will be going to some great places this long weekend and I will take lots of pictures so I can show you all. :)

Growing out hair and hair care

Hi guys. So as you can tell by the title of this post I am going to be giving you some tips on how to grow out your hair. Or basically help speed up the process. So here are some things to help grow out your hair.

1. Cut the heat! All it does is damage your hair. Braids, pony tails, and messy buns are good options to cut the heat. Also go on YouTube and find some heat less hair tutorials. Trust me it will save you in this process. If you need to use heat for a special event like prom for example use a heat tamer spray. Believe me. The one I have is really effective and it smells pretty good. But I don’t use heat on my hair very often. If you swim you probably have the same problem.
2. Wash your hair every 3 days. If you can’t do that dry shampoo is your friend if hats aren't allowed at school, or beanies and hats if they are. You basically have to train your hair to not get dirty. (lol ikr)
3. Use oils in your hair like Moroccan oil. Use hair masks once a month or once every two months. Apply the oils on around bottom half of hair. Apply the oils when you are out of the shower and your hair is around 60% dry.
4. Extensions are fine if you are stuck at an awkward length.
5. Take care of your split ends because girl, if you don’t your hair will be going damaged all around your head. I bet bet you don’t want that to happen, so go get a little trim at the hairdresser. (and make sure they don’t cut anymore than what you want. Be the boss! It’s your hair after all, not theirs.)
6. Know your hair type it will help with growing out your hair.
7. Taking care of your hair is important it helps your hair grow faster.
8. Put any dandruff under control with head & shoulders shampoo.
9. If your hair is damaged it may be useful to use a conditioner for damaged hair. Same goes if your hair is colored or has ever been colored.
10. Wash your hair with cold water. It won’t get as greasy quickly in the duration of 3 days. (If you swim and your hair gets oily, don’t worry. I feel you. Try using dry shampoo)
11. You really have to learn about being patient with this process. Honestly I want to grow out my hair to so we will be going through this process together.

Where have I been?+more

Happy May! So I know I haven't been posting for a really long time. My last few weeks have been really busy and so will the upcoming weeks. So on the 22nd of April I got braces, it was pretty painful at first but then I got used to them. I'm still not entirely used to them. Thursday I had a track meet which was so exciting and fun. I was a track meet for mile school and I ran the mile (4 laps around an outdoor track) and the 800 (2 laps around an outdoor track). I was very pleased with my event times and placements. In the mile I ran a 6:22  and was first place overall and it was my new personal record (PR). The mile is an event were you get a lot of support. Many people are cheering you on and it is really motivational. In the 800 my time was a 2:54. It wasn't mt best time but I was still happy that I came in 1st place overall and was able to score some points for my team. Also many people do cheer you on in this event but not as many. But cheering on does help a lot.
