Mother's Day DIY

DIY #1:
Hand Made Card

Nothing may be more special than a hand made card. You may not have the best art skills ever, but on mother's day your art skills don't count, it's the thought that counts.

DIY #2:
Decoration

Decoration could be a simple garland with hearts or flowers. I made a garland that says
"WE ♥ MOMMY" You can do any phrase that you want. If you choose to do a garland I recommend using card stock. Card stock is a sturdier paper that I personally like using better than regular paper.

Tip: For the O in MOMMY I took a pencil or pend and in the inner circle on a soft surface like a mouse pad, I poked the inside instead of folding the O to cut out the inside.

To attach the letters to the string or twine you can use tape, hole punch the ends, but I recommend using a hot glue gun or glue to make sure that the letters stay in the place you want it and don't move around. Also if you want to make the letters equally spaced on the string or twine, use a ruler and mark where you are putting the letters with marker or sharpie. Feel free to make the string or twine as long as you would like.

DIY #3:
Flowers

A gift to your mother could be as simple as giving her flowers that she may like. As I said before, it's not about the amount of gifts given, or the quality of the gift, it's the thought.

DIY #4:
Make a meal

A gift to your mother could also be as simple as making a meal such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a treat like chocolate chip cookies.

Here is a recipe to chocolate chip cookies from Betty Croker: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/ultimate-chocolate-chip-cookies/77c14e03-d8b0-4844-846d-f19304f61c57

I hope you all enjoyed this post for Mother's Day DIYs. Don't forget to tell your mother Happy Mother's Day and I love you.

Happy Mother's Day,
Caro
